Dear (prom date)
Thanks for not giving two shits about me after prom. I see how it is, put up a fake smile, act a fake laugh, give a fake damn before the night. Then right after blow me off completely and tell my best friend everything that you are to much of a coward to tell me… See me on the other hand, I legit give a damn, I actually care, I always speak the truth in my voice, and never would I dare to hurt in any form. But whatever cuz really I go my best friends who actually give a fuck about my well being and I don’t have to buy they’re friendship, or take em to a place just so they can get dressed up dance to music and put on a fake smile. So lastly this little poems for you. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Catchable later

You never gave a damn about anything but your dress and my suit, never ever asking about my mind or my attitude. Thinking in the past and how I did it all for you, thinking in the now realizing that you never liked me. Noticing the change from right after the start, thinking damn this girls gonna tear me apart. And not once did you, since my heart is government issued. used for money, used for power. Sacrifices I did for you, money blown away cuz I thought that you would stay. But fuck it guess not, maybe I was wrong. It’s just that you looked so fine it blew my mind. Thinking damn this girl for certain has gotta be kind. Thing that I’ve learned is looks are deceiving.
